It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Kevin Alexander Ash, at the age of 67 - a beloved son, brother, and friend, who passed away on Tuesday, December 24,2024, of Sunset Community, Pugwash, and formerly of Antigonish. His life, although cut way too short, was filled with love, laughter, and his unwavering spirit and faith.

Born in Antigonish, he was the son of Rita Mae (Skinner) Ash and the late William Thomas "Bill" Ash.

Kevin enjoyed listening to music and reading with his candy (Scotch Mints) in hand while watching his TV game shows religiously everyday over and over.

Besides his mother, Rita, he is survived by his brothers, Willy, Antigonish; and Francis, London, Ontario; and many nieces and nephews; as well as very special long-time friends and caregivers, Yvonne Fields and Kathy Betts.

He is predeceased by his father, Bill.

Kevin will forever be remembered as a devoted son, brother, and a true friend. Rest in peace, dear Kevin; your spirit will continue to shine in the hearts and the community of those you loved and trusted.

Cremation has taken place, and a private graveside service will take place in St. Ninian Cemetery at a later date.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Sunset Community who have provided exceptional care for Kevin over the many years. Their kindness compassion and dedication is deeply appreciated.
