BALSOR WHISTON, Mabel

Mabel Bele (Whiston) Balsor, 77, of Cambridge, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.


Born in Windsor, she was a daughter of the late Wilbert and Myrna (Schofield) Whiston.


Mabel will be deeply missed by her son, Robert Balsor, Cambridge; daughter, Heather (David) Brown, Alberta; son-in-law, Gordon Attridge, Greenwood; brothers, Ernest and Jerry Whiston; sisters, Ena (Richard) Balsor, Doris (Robert) Kelly, Wanda (William) Naugler and Helen (Daniel) Draper; grandchildren, Emily (Brent) Cleghorn, Trista Ullock, Jacob Fraser, Ali (Kyle) Atrridge, Nicole Balsor; seven great grandchildren.


In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Justin Balsor (November 21, 2023); daughter, Myrna Attridge; great granddaughter, Daphne Balsor; brother, Robert Whiston; sisters, Shirley (Kenneth) Pynch and Evelyn Dunham.


Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Sunday, May 26 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, immediately followed by the funeral service (with a video webcast) starting at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Joe Gosbee officiating.


Donations in memory may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation.


Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
