Clare, Patrick (Rick) M., passed away October 13, 2024 at the age of 59 after a nearly year-long battle with cancer.
Survived by his loving wife, Debbie, father David and brothers Bryan and Terry (Brenda). Rick was predeceased by his mother Cathy, in-laws Robert & Joan MacNeil and his beloved Golden Retrievers, Cutter & Tug.
After graduating from high school, Rick went on to train as an auto technician and worked at that career for nearly 40 years.
Rick loved the outdoors, nature and animals. One of his favorite things was camping at Kejimkujuk.
A talented woodworker, always good with his hands and creative, Rick in recent years enjoyed making everything from furniture to knick-knacks and wall art. He was a loving husband, pet parent, neighbour and mentor. He was loved and respected by many. Despite his grumpy exterior he was honest loyal and loving.
In lieu of flowers donations to the SPCA or other animal charity would be appreciated.
