It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Albert Edward Dawson, age 94, of Springhill, formerly of British Columbia. 

Albert passed away at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre on Monday, April 7, 2025.

Born in Yorke, England, he was a son of the late Frank and Sarah (Knowles) Dawson.

He moved to Canada in 1948 and worked in the forestry before opening a barber shop in Vancouver.  He eventually went onto teaching appliance repair at Kwantlen College before spent the better part of his retirement with his daughter Leslie in Springhill.

He will be sadly missed by his daughters Rikki Parry, Summerside, PE and Lesli Dawson, Springhill; 2 grandchildren Rhiannon Parry, Summerside, PE, and Devin George, Launching, PE; great grandchildren Rora and Raylena.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Doreen Dawson; siblings Douglas, Frank, Marjorie and Dennis.

As per his wishes there will be no visitation or Funeral Service.

Donations in memory of Albert may be made to the Humane Society.
