Ryan-Delorey, Amanda Bernice, age 46, of Monastery, Antigonish County, passed away on June 23, 2024, at home.
Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of Harry and Bernice (Pelrine) Ryan.
Amanda was a helper, a provider, and a caregiver. She was proud to be a nurse, and she spent her whole career helping people, having worked in local health care facilities. As a mother, she made sure her kids had everything they needed. Amanda loved animals and gardening, and she was completely dedicated to her Mom.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her children, Luke, Kyla, and Nevaeh; her special stepdaughter, Brandy; her loyal canine companion, Winnie; sisters, Dawn (Darryl) and Megan (Jason); brother, Brennen (Samantha); five nieces and nephews; six aunts, one uncle, and their spouses.
Predeceased by her grandparents, Fred and Willena Ryan and Frank and Stella Pelrine.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 7 to 9pm and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in St. Paul’s Centre, Havre Boucher. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 11:00am in St. Paul’s Church with Reverend Allan MacPhie presiding. Burial in the parish cemetery.
