GAUDET, Anne – age 78, formerly of Belliveau Cove passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024 in Villa Acadienne, Meteghan. Born in Belliveau Cove, she was a daughter on the late Edmund and Marguerite (Boudreau) Comeau.
Anne loved music and enjoyed playing the piano, which she did till the very end. She was a true entertainer. She loved attending Blue Grass festivals with family and friends. In her later years, she enjoyed dancing with the staff members at the Villa. Both her sons will remember her fondly as a loving and caring mother.
She is survived by her sons, Yvon (Gina Theriault) Gaudet, Victor Lake; Russell (Laurie) Gaudet, North Wright’s Lake (Weymouth); brother, Elie Comeau, Southville; Joseph “Joe” (Brigitte) Comeau, New Edinburgh.
She was predeceased by her 1st husband, Norbert Gaudet; 2nd husband, Fred Smith; sister, Celeste LeBlanc.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Meteghan Funeral Home where visitations will be held on Thursday, July 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A memorial service will be held in Emmanuel Baptist Church, Belliveau Cove officiated by Paster Pernell Muise on Wednesday, July 10th at 11 a.m.
The family sends a special thank you to the staff of Villa Acadienne for their remarkable care and love for Anne; she loved them too.
