It is with our deepest regret that we, the family of Caden Noah Harold Giles, announce his passing Monday April 7, 2025, at home in North Sydney.

Born on May 13, 2006, in Sydney, Caden was the son of Julie Grant and Ivan (Talana) Giles.

Besides his parents, Caden is survived by his sister, Jenna MacNeil; brother, Ethan Giles; nephews, Keelan MacNeil and Nash MacNeil; grandmother, Susan Marsh; grandfather, Murray (Gloria) Grant; aunt, Alison Giles, Sydney; uncle, Jason Grant, North Sydney, and cousins, Jayden, Jade, Ryan, and Kale.

Caden was predeceased by his grandparents, Katherine and Ivan Giles.

Visitation and memorial service to celebrate the life of Caden Giles will be held at Pier Community Funeral Home, 1092 Victoria Rd. (entrance on Church St.), Whitney Pier on Sunday, April 13, 2025. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. with the memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. in the All Faith Chapel with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Caden may be made to the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Pier Community Funeral Home.
