It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our brother Rick Grady. Rick passed away on June 10, 2024 after a short battle with cancer.
Rick was a long-time member of the Eastern Passage and Somme Branch Royal Canadian Legions. He love playing darts, bowling and pool.
He leaves behind sister, Sharon and brothers, Charlie (Phyllis), Michael (Janice) and Neil (Goldie) and brother-in-law Steve Alexander (Ruth).
He was predeceased by parents Cyril and Ruth (Gudger) Grady and sisters Marie, Bonnie and Edie.
Cremation has already taken place. A celebration of life will be held Saturday June 22, 2024 from 2-4 pm at Dartmouth Funeral Home, 29 Queen Street, Dartmouth. Internment, will take place at a later date.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the nurses and all the staff at the Dartmouth General Hospital for all their special care for our brother.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
