Carol Susan Haley – 79, of Truro passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 18, 2024, in the Palliative Care Unit of Colchester East Hants Health Centre.
Carol is survived by her children, Lorraine Augustine (Mike Bernard), Tina Campbell (Neill), Tracey Johnson (Robert) and Trevor Legacy (Melissa McLane); siblings, Lee Paul (Ross Marr), Shirley Francis, Noella Augustine (Jimmy), Mary Sark (Darcy), Theresa Levi (Robert), Anne Levi (Lee), Carrie Franics (Brian) and Jimmy Augustine (Beatrice); grandchildren,
Mike Cook (Susie Joy), Troy Cook, Courtney Campbell, Jeremy Campbell (Rachel Tucker), Casandra Johnson, Brandon Barclay, Keelyn McLane (Kobe Nicholas), McKenna Legacy, Tarran Legacy, Jack Bernard (Brandy) and Michelle Bernard; great grandchildren, MacKenzie Joy-Cook, Ethan Campbell, Lennox Nicholas, Landon Higgins, Kaylie Higgins, Charlee Bernard, Dallas Bernard and Austin Bernard; several nieces and nephews; godchildren, Lee Paul and Dr. Rob Johnson.
She will also be missed by her fur companions, Precious and Rambo who were always by her side.
Carol was predeceased by sisters, Emma Levi, Judy Bernard, Patricia Bernard, Sharon Augustine, Tammy Marie Augustine; brothers, Darrell Augustine and Leo Augustine Jr.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses in the Palliative Care Unit of Colchester East Hants Health Centre, the Colchester East Hants Hospice Society and Mark MacPherson for the compassionate care they provided to our mom in her final days and hours.
Honoring Carol’s wishes there will not be a service, but the family invites you to a Celebration of her life 4-7 pm on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at The Peg, 10675 Highway 2 Masstown.
In lieu of flowers donations to Palliative Care Unit of Colchester East Hants Health Centre or Colchester East Hants Hospice Society are welcomed.
