INNESS, Charles (Chuck) 72, son of the late Alice and Joseph Inness, passed away Nov. 29th.

His kind heart will be missed by his sister Sherry Smyth, daughter Michelle, son Mark and granddaughter, Olivia; nieces Lisa and Emily Corra and nephew Tony Corra.  He was predeceased by sister Joanne and twin brother, David.

Chuck was a man of many talents.  Professional musician (Route 66, Friends of the Family) carpenter and a Commissionaire at Halifax Dockyards and Johnson Building.  Chuck enjoyed the outdoors, motor cycles, fishing and archery.  He played hockey as a boy and was a long time fan of the Habs.  He composed music for his sister's wedding and loved to play guitars from his broad collection.  He attended Rolling Stones Concert, Bob Dylan and others.  Collected record albums and could tell us all about famous musicians and their songwriting.

Chuck graduated from Prince Andrew High and Dartmouth Vocational, as an Electrician.  In his younger days Chuck worked on elevators, built houses, kitchen cabinets, band equipment cases including some for Rita MacNeil's band.

Chuck faced many health challenges later in life including the loss of part of a leg.  He carried on as bravely as he could and managed to find ways to enjoy the time he had left, still doing carpentry work from his wheelchair, cooking and ordering Christmas gifts and managed to go to vote just three days before he passed.

Memorial Service will be held Dec. 13th at 2 pm at Sherry's home followed by burial at St. Andrews Cemetery.
