Upper Northfield, NS January 28th, 2025
Greg Harold Lohnes, of Upper Northfield, passed away on January 28th, 2025 in South Shore Regional Hospital at the age of 68.
Born in Upper Northfield, he was a son of the late Perry and "Pauline" (Whynot) Lohnes.
Greg was a self employed plumber and made his "bread and butter" by doing what he loved- working and helping out so many people, many of whom became good friends.
He is survived by his partner Barri Zinck; son David (Helen Bush); grandchildren Tessa and Tarri; brother Brian, and nieces and nephews; parents in-law Jim and Carol Zinck; brother in-law Todd (Stacy). He also leaves behind 2 dogs, Stewart and Bradley and 2 cats, Chester and Freckles. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Ken.
A celebration of life will be held from 12-4pm on Saturday February 8th, 2025 at the Upper Northfield Community Hall. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to SHAID.
