January 23, 2024

LOHNES, Sheila Rose - 74 of Rhodes Corner, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2024 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Malcolm and Helen "Freda" (Bruhm) Whynot.

Mom was a kind soul with a big heart. She loved her family and friends and was loved by them in return. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was always there to lend a helping hand. She enjoyed knitting, crochet, rug hooking, quilting and sewing. For many years, she was a seamstress for Suttles and Seawinds in New Germany. Mom had an amazing smile, even when she was feeling ill.

Surviving are her husband Roger; children Randy and Tereasa (Ronald); siblings Rayburn, Patsy, Marilyn, Ronald, Raymond and Sylvia; grandchildren Jacob, Megan, Weston; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Linda.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
