With deep sorrow and loss, we announce the passing of Catherine Joan MacPhee.
Cathy grew up in Reserve Mines, Cape Breton Island and formed many lifelong friendships. Several years ago, she and family relocated to Leduc, Alberta.
She was a devoted friend to many and was always ready to help when called upon. Support for loved ones continued after the birth of her daughter Emma (my beautiful little everything). Cathy (Mum Mum) supported Emma in every way possible and has molded her into the perfect young lady she is today.
This loss has left a tremendous hole in the lives of so many. Cathy's memory will continue to live on in the many stories told by family and friends. Her special touches in decorating the home will be missed by her family too. She had an amazing eye for it and enjoyed it very much.
Left to grieve are her partner John MacLennan and daughter Emma MacLennan (both of Leduc, AB), sisters Lesley MacPhee (Reserve Mines, NS) and Rhonda MacPhee(Ontario) and brother Floyd Reddick (Glace Bay NS), In laws Dan and Isabelle MacLennan (New Waterford NS), sister-in laws Janet MacNeil (Michael) (Benacadie NS) and Phyllis Bonaparte (Sydney NS) along with her special niece Cora MacPhee (Reserve Mines NS) and of course, her kitties - Scruffy, Biscuit & Bonnach. Along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by both her parents, Neil, and Jean (nee Clarke) MacPhee (Reserve Mines, NS) and Grandmother Rhoda Cameron (Reserve Mines, NS).
There are no services scheduled now. Cremation has taken place.
