It is with profound sadness the family announces the passing of Norma Ruth Mosher on March 18th 2024 at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.
Born in Gold River, she was a daughter of the late John and Gertie Zwicker.
Known as Nornie to her family, she is survived by her daughter, Gretchen Langille; granddaughter-in-law, Joanne Contant (Adam); beloved great-grandchildren, Ethan and Jayde Langille; brother, Gary Zwicker.
She was predeceased by her husband, Marshall; grandson, Jason Langille; son-in-law, Loring Langille; brother, Earl Zwicker; sisters, Blanch Zwicker, Katie Barkhouse, Lena Rafuse, Mae Colby and Florence Reimer.
Norma was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an amazing cook and no one left her home hungry. She enjoyed gardening, birdwatching and walks to feed apples to the neighbours horses. She enjoyed daily visits from the neighbours cats. The highlight of her life was Sunday night supper with her family which continued until her passing. Nornie loved her family dearly and was loved dearly in return. She will be forever missed and remembered with love. Norma was a member of Grace Anglican Church, Chester Basin.
The family kindly asks that memorial donations be considered for either Lighthouse Food Bank, Chester; Grace Anglican Church; PRO Kids, Chester or a charity of your choice.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital for their compassion and caring during Norma’s brief stay in the Emergency Department.
Please monitor this site for graveside memorial service arrangements to be announced in the coming weeks.
