ROSE, Mary Norma Elmina, it is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Elmina Rose on September 9, 2024 at Ocean View Continuing Care, formally of Lower Sackville.
Born August 31, 1938 in Kempt Shore, Hants County, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Vernie (Hill) Theriault.
She was a stay at home Mom raising her children with great pride. She enjoyed the countless hours she worked in her vegetable garden with her husband Richard and working with flowers and shrubs. Elmina had a great love for animals, and especially her cats, which were mostly adopted strays.
She is survived by daughters, Gail Sawler, Nancy Brownhill, Angelia (Jeff) Stone ,Laura (Rick) Blotnicky several grandchildren and great grandchildren , a sister-in-law Sue Theriault.
Elmina was predeceased by her husband Richard, a son Arnold, and a daughter Dianne.
In keeping with Elmina's wishes there will be no visitation, nor funeral. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
The family would like to thank the team at Oceanview (Seaside Unit) for her excellent care.
