Judith Martha Pearl Sarson (Mason) - Wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt passed away peacefully in ICU at DGH on Jan 11, 2024.
Judy was born on the Eastern Shore in Pleasant Harbour on July 2, 1940 to the late C. Cavell and Eva Pearl Mason (Hilchie). She is survived by daughter Linda Pearl Sarson Hendry (Ross), son Thomas, daughter in law Elizabeth Irving, grandchildren John Hendry and Eva Pearl Hendry Pickup (Dave) great grandchildren Darius Jay and Devyn Pearl.
Sisters Doris McAndrews, Evelyn Walsh (Robert) Violet (Betty) Mailman, Brothers Ivan Mason (Shelia), Brian Mason (Mary) as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Besides her parents Judith was predeceased by her husband Harry, companion Mark Reid, youngest daughter Catherine, and sister, Mabel (Bradshaw).
Judy’s working career was varied and included housekeeping, working in laundry, and driving vehicles at autoport.
Judy was petite and strong with a beautiful smile. She could put her, hand to most home repair. She loved sewing, music, dancing, feeding/watching the birds and tending to her flower and vegetable gardens.
The family would like to thank everyone who looked after Judy so well in her last few months. Paramed Homecare, EP fire department, EHS, DGH ED and ICU
She will be missed by all of us who loved her deeply.
Visitation Wednesday January 17, 2024, 1 to 4pm at Eastern Passage Community Funeral Home, 5 Cow Bay Rd, Eastern Passage
Cremation has taken place. Interment to follow at a later date.
