Lewis (Lew) Harding Williams Jr., 68, passed away peacefully at home on January 17th, 2025 surrounded by family after his courageous battle with cancer.
Lew’s life began in Ontario. Born into a military family led him to spend his younger years in Germany and New Brunswick. His family then settling in Sandy Point, Shelburne County. It was there that he met the love of his life and wife of 47 years Karen. They together had their home in Chelsea where they raised their two children.
Lew worked at Michelin Tire Bridgewater for 37 years until he retired in 2012. On his time away from work he could be found outside often mowing the lawn, completing tasks around the house or watching Nascar. He enjoyed travelling south with Karen to soak up the sun. His witty charm, jokes and wisdom warmed the hearts of his family and friends.
Family would like to thank all involved with his care.
Lew was predeceased by his mother Margaret; father Lewis Sr. and step-sister Judy. He is survived through his wife Karen; children Melissa (Adrian) and Lewis; brothers Gordon and Sean, with nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no service at this time. Interment will take place at a later date.
